FULL-STACK ENGINEER
01 / ABOUT

I'm a full-stack engineer who enjoys taking ambitious ideas and figuring out how to make them real. I'm especially interested in how AI is changing what we can build, how quickly we can build it, and what that means for the role of an engineer.

AI has democratized software development to the point where you can build prototypes for most ideas using natural language in a matter of hours. I think that changes where the value of an engineer lives.

Getting something to work is becoming easier. Building something that can live in production, grow with a business, and evolve without collapsing under its own complexity is a different problem.

Tyler Morgan

I believe good engineering means understanding the architecture behind a system and the tradeoffs behind your technical decisions. Every decision has a cost. The goal is to understand those tradeoffs early, address the ones that matter, and build a system capable of scaling with the ambitions behind it.

02 / WHAT I BUILD

What you build matters.

When you can build almost anything, what you choose to build matters even more.

I like building things that excite me, especially products with an ambitious idea behind the technology. I do my best work on small, scrappy teams with a clear mission, where I can work autonomously, move quickly, and take ownership of problems.

03 / OUTSIDE THE EDITOR

Outside engineering, I like playing games and building interesting things with AI. That might mean experimenting with a solo project or finding a way to automate a legacy system for a local business.
